After a very long day yesterday (flights, driving up into the Dolomites), we went out for one of the most classic rides in Europe, the Gruppo di Sella. It's basically a loop with four passes, the Compolongo, Pordoi, Sella, and Gardena. Short ride, but all we did was go up and down.
While cloudy most of the day, the weather was fine, sometimes hot, sometimes cool, but no rain. Lots of cyclists, and unfortunately way too many motorcycles driving way too fast. Only saw one crash (after the fact) with unknown results; emrgency vehicles were still there.
Overall a great start, and great scenery! Strava for map and profile: http://app.strava.com/activities/60475010
