Woke up to beautiful clear skies, but cold. Today is the one day of the trip where I've already ridden the same roads in the same direction, starting with an old friend Passo Pordoi. It was 34 degrees for most of the climb, only warming up to low 40's when we got out of the shadows towards the top. A light dusting of snow on the top from yesterday:
Added a layer for the descent down the other side; brrrr. Next up was the Passo Falzarego from a different direction than two years ago, but mostly the same as a ride I did 12 years ago.
Then the familiar drop to Cortina, a little warmer than the first descent. By coincidence we're staying at the same hotel as in 2003. So far holding up okay; lots of climbing, just riding very slowly.
