Initial note: Erle requested viewing the rides on Strava, hence the link above (and added to Day 1). Much nicer ride today. Perfect weather again, and most riding on empty country roads, with wildflowers everywhere. More photos today; yesterday was a nice ride, but not photogenic. Saw our first Greek temple:
And our first roadblock (seems like every ride has at least one animal blockcade):
The highlight of the ride was the climb up to Erice, starting with some switchbacks:
Erice is a town at the top of the hill, with an old castle, very cool place to visit, followed by a great descent back down the same switchbacks.
