Today was a longer ride, though mostly flat with some rollers. A lot of the ride was on fairly busy and boring roads, but there was also some very nice countryside. Not nearly as nice as yesterday tho.
Plus, the grouping of riders is still less-than-perfect, so a lot of delays for numerous reasons. Made for a long-ish day for a fairly easy ride. Hopefully they'll dial it in better for the next ride, or we may end up going out on our own. I'm here with brother Dee, and Paul/Lorilei/Tom/Bob from St. Helena. And a bunch of people from Dallas, and the UK.
I should mention that the entire area is completely overrun with cyclists. Faster groups were passing us, and we were passing slower groups. All day, everywhere, are riders. Never experienced anything quite like it.
Only a couple marginal photos today; hard to tell, but the town square we stopped at was covered in lycra.
