75 miles 3,900’
Clear skies, a lot of flats and rollers, so for the first time we all rode together pretty much the whole day. Stopped in Girona for a long lunch, since it was a fairly easy day. Took a long time to get into town, and even longer to get out; not great riding in that area.
After lunch and couple glasses of wine, we had more or the same until finally arriving at our last climb for the trip. Zipped up the hill, had a beer at the top, and then, after 500 miles of riding, we saw:
After the descent, we had some big ups and downs on the coast before arriving at our hotel above the water. Done! 515 miles, close to 60,000’ of climbing, rode every mile. At the end, Kenny, Steve, Greg, Kim, and me:
Heading to Barcelona tomorrow; Denise just arrive minutes ago at our hotel there, so now I can ditch the bike and relax . Great trip overall!

ReplyDeleteWay over the top Dave. On thought these Trek trips were somewhat pedistrian. Obviously, I was miss-informed. Great shots, video and narrative. Do you have the trip mapped on your Garmin?
