Splendid day today; short, all rollers (big and small), tailwind most of the day, and lots of sunshine! Left Makarora around 10, still cool in the upper 40s. The ride went along Lake Wanaka first, then over a hill to Lake Hawea. The area has a Eastern Sierra look to it. Got the town of Wanaka to a nice hotel room, had lunch and a Guinness, then found an internet cafe with ethernet so I can finally upload some photos from the last few days. I have also shot a lot of movies the last couple days, but they are too large to upload. Nice to be warm again! Hard to believe that tomorrow is the last ride of the tour.
