Another great ride today, into Queenstown. Left under partly-cloudy skies, mid 60s, and started a long, very gradual climb.
Eventually it got steep toward the top as we went over the Crown Range at 3,600', the high point of the tour. Steep descent with occasional nasty cross-winds and yucky chip 'n seal roads; would have been much more fun otherwise.
A nice picnic lunch in Arrowtown, and some very steep (over 16%) sections on our way into Queenstown. Went down to the waterfront for a beer before heading to the hotel to pack up the bike.
What a great tour! 600 miles total, and amazingly enough we only missed a half-day of riding to weather. As usual, it will be great to get back home; we fly out tomorrow, and arrive a few hours before we leave.
